We had a great time meeting people at Home Shows around the motu this spring, with lots of interest and some great conversations about what it means to foster.
First up was the Auckland Home Show at the Auckland Showgrounds in September. Over four days, our team chatted with so many of you about our mahi, the difference foster carers make for tamariki and rangatahi, and the support available to carers.

Next was the Waikato Home & Garden Show at Claudelands Events Centre in Kirikiriroa Hamilton, in October.

Finally, we headed to Ōtautahi for the Canterbury Home Show at Wolfbrook Arena, Addington.
Everyone who chatted with us about fostering went into the draw to win prizes, including gift baskets and gift cards. Visitors could also have a go at our lolly jar competition and get their very own Key Assets temporary tattoo for the day.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to meet our team and say kia ora. Whether you’re ready to take the first step or just want to learn more about fostering, we’d love to hear from you.
