Key Assets Sponser Award for Manurewa Youth Workers Network
On the 12th of October the Manurewa Youth Workers Network held their 2015 Youth Workers Awards.
Key Assets sponsored the Wairoa Award For excellence in holistic care of young people. Angie Simpson and Abby Crowe attended the event to present the Waiora Award.
There were 10 nominees for this award from the Manurewa area and Tania Bell from Waimahia Intermediate School won the award.
Tania is a counsellor at the school and was nominated by the community because she goes beyond her roles and responsibilities to care for and support the rangatahi she works with. She never expects anything more than for her youth so be safe, successful and to live happy lives. She is the definition of love, determination and Mana Wahine.
The awards were a wonderful display of all the hard work and determination to help the youth of the area succeed.
