Caring for a child is a fantastic career that really makes a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people. We believe foster carers should be rewarded for their hard work. That’s why we offer our foster carers a generous allowance that covers the cost of caring for children and young people as well as being a reward for the work you do.
Fostering allowances are paid to all foster carers whenever they take a fostering placement and are paid on a fortnightly basis. The amount you receive as a foster carer depends on the placement type.
