About Us
Key Assets is a not-for-profit independent fostering agency, initially established in September 2007.
Part of The Core Assets Group of Companies, Key Assets aims to provide quality care in a family setting to children and young people who are "hard to place" or have complex needs.
The vision, aims and principles are driven from the founding directors, and are child-centered and recognise that all children and young people deserve a better chance at achieving successful outcomes, while foster carers need to receive greater financial compensation, recognition and comprehensive support.
The Key Assets delivery model is based upon an organisational ethos called 'Team Parenting™'. This has been tailored to in several countries and provides an holistic and systemic approach to supporting each child and carer. Our vision is to make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of the children and young people around the world.
Key Assets recruits carers with varying backgrounds and experience to work as part of a close team that provides specialised family placements to children and young people. Key Assets carers provide short, medium and long term care to children aged 0-18 years old.
Key Assets moved into our Auckland office in November 2008.
